From 19th to 21st September, Fiera Milano Rho hosted the 102nd edition of Lineapelle.
The 102nd edition of Lineapelle Milano, under the title ‘’Metamorphosis’’, decreed the triumph of basic materials, of more or less thickned soft nappa leather , of leathers with a natural shine and fluid leathers.
The international exhibition of leather, accessories, components, fabrics, synthetics and models closes therefore with a desire for metamorphosis, of a changing of point of view. It’ s precisely the yellow dot, chosen as symbol of this edition, to illuminate and give energy to this change.
The three trends of the 2024-2025 winter season emerged from Lineapelle 102:the most natural casual, the basic that represents ‘’ comfort zone of each collection’’and the ‘’contemporary expressionism’’ younger and braver characterized by striking colors, bold polishes and effects full of emotional impact. These three trends translate themselves into wrinkled, removed, dirtied , blackened leather that break with tradition and become bearers of a new beginning.
Among the novelties for next winter there are also many hairy and voluminous fabrics, such as bouclè, but also some revisited classics such as checks, florals and herringbone tweeds.
LINEAPELLE 102 IN NUMBERS
The recently concluded edition of Lineapelle hosted 1.330 exhibitors and welcomed over 29.000 visitors from 109 different countries , with an increasing number of professional operators by 25% compared tothe September 2022 edition. Italian visitors grew by 26%, while foreign ones increased by 22%. This edition also recorded a detail dynamism of visitors from France, China , Japan and South Korea, with a reassuring return to fair Asian buyers .
Next appointment with Lineapelle Milano is from 20 to 22 February 2024. The stylistic focus of the 103rd edition will be the 2025 summer season.
