From 27 to 29 June, the 83th edition of Pitti Filati was held at exbition venue of Fortezza da Basso.
The international exhibition, point of reference for knitting yarn industry, hosted this year about 5.500 buyers from all over the world and , in particular, from Russia, Eastern Europe, Turkey, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Northern European countries.
The great novelty of this edition is represented by the debut of Lineapelle at Pitti Filati. Collaboration of the two leading events in the world represents a turning point that will give a start to new creative and stylistic paths, in the name of Made in Italy.
Lineapelle took part at Pitti Filati with a space designed specifically to promote excellence of its exhibitors and their inexhaustible creativity. In research and in depth area “TODAY IS TOMORROW : A PREVIEW OF LINEAPELLE” has presented, in fact, an accurate selection of materials for the Fall /Winter 2019/2020 season and a program of both technical and fashion workshop.
Lineapelle’s partecipation in Florence ended with a positive balance. Visitors paid attention to both stylistic insights, related to the trends for winter 2019/2020, and to the collection launches.
The seminar on sustainability has also attracted great interest that allowed buyers present at the fair to discover the all-round excellence of Italian tanneries.
Next appointment with Lineapelle is fixed from 25 to 27 September at Fiera Milano Rho with presentation of the new winter 2019/20 collections.
