On 26-28 April 2016 in Dubai will be held the largest global meeting of the chain Skin in the Middle East.
A market, in the region of the Gulf, which is worth 6 billion dollars , that is preparing to present its substance to the the second edition of Leather World Middle East at Convention and Exhibition Centre in Dubai. More than 125 exhibitors are expected at the three-day event many of them Europeans, from semi-finished to finished products , the fair works to establish itself as a universal point of reference of the leather industry in the Middle East.
Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the organizer of Leatherworld ME, said : ”After three days of deep networking, sharing knowledge and insights about the latest trends in leather, Leather Middle East is ready to launch its new edition to establish itself as point of reference for the regional leather market and meeting point with the international leather market”.
In the countries of the GCC( Gulf Cooperation Cuncil) the market for the leather imports and exports touched 4.09 billion dollars and with 1.9 billion value for production capacity , and it strengthens an ideal scenario for Leather World Middle East to become a leading platform at the international level.

In the same edition, seven of the most talented fashion designers UAE aspiring from the prestigious fashion school ESMOD Dubai will show their creative talents to a global audience.
The pieces were chosen by more than 40 drawings and combined in a mix of traditional techniques,manipulation of the skin and cutting edge technology.
Tamara Hostal, Founder and CEO of ESMOD Dubai, said : ” This collaboration opens the minds of our students in terms of what they can do with leather”. ” We wanted to introduce them to the world of the skins, which plays an important role in fashion, and it is also important fro them to interact with global suppliers in Leather Middle East […]”.
